While most commonly associated with video games, the metaverse also finds applications in various sectors, including business, education, and retail.   <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_next_Innovation_Challenge_%E2%80%98%E2%80%98Welcome_to_the_Metaverse_%E2%80%93_The_next_Innovation_Challenge_%E2%80%98%E2%80%98Welcome_to_the_Metaverse\"><\/span>The next Innovation Challenge \u2018\u2018Welcome to the Metaverse\u2019\u2019 \u2013 The next Innovation Challenge \u2018\u2018Welcome to the Metaverse\u2019\u2019<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>To foster innovation and explore the vast potential of the metaverse, Venture Makers from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/launchpadlive.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Launch Pad (Technology Business Incubator)<\/a><\/strong>, in collaboration with Virbela, is launching the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/launchpadlive.com.au\/venture-makers-announces-official-partnership-with-virbela-for-the-next-innovation-challenge-welcome-to-the-metaverse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;The Next Innovation Challenge: Welcome to the Metaverse&#8221;<\/a><\/strong>. This competition offers an opportunity for everyone to delve deeper into the metaverse and contribute to its optimal development. It also serves as a platform for individuals to connect, share ideas, and learn from each other within a virtual environment. This competition is part of the institution&#8217;s entrepreneurship development program designed to nurture a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hitekgroup.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/innovation-challenge-welcome-to-the-metaverse-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\u201cMetaverse Innovation Challenge\u201d Competition in Australia\"><\/p>\n<p>Hosted through Launch Pad and in collaboration with renowned industry partners, the Launch Event also featured prominent industry guests such as Peter Xing \u2013 an educator and practitioner of transhumanism and emerging technologies, and Alex Howland \u2013 president and co-founder of Virbela.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_winning_team_was_the_team_with_a_representative_from_Vietnam\"><\/span>The winning team was the team with a representative from Vietnam.<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/hitekgroup.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/bang-khen-chien-thang-cuoc-thi-metaverse.png\" alt=\"The winning team belonged to Mr. Tran Anh Khoi's team - Founder &amp; CEO of Hitek Group.\"><\/p>\n<p>The competition officially took place on May 19th, with the winning team led by Mr. Tran Anh Khoi, Founder &amp; CEO of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hitekgroup.vn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hitek Group<\/a><\/strong>. Comprising members from various countries worldwide, the team had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and collaborate on a joint project aimed at innovating the metaverse. This victory has opened doors for the team to build industry relationships and hone essential skills such as ideation, teamwork, and presentation.
